Court sentences Bobrisky To 6 Months In Prison Over Naira Abuse

A federal high Court in sitting in Lagos state has found popular cross-dresser, Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye aka Bobrisky,  guilty of naira Abuse and has been sentenced to six months imprisonment with no option of fine.

The crossdresser was arraigned arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at the Federal High Court for naira abuse. Though Bobrisky had pleaded guilty to the first four counts bordering on Naira abuse while the counts five and six bothering on money laundering allegations were struck out on the application of the EFCC.

However, Justice Abimbola Awogboro in a judgement delivered today, April 12th, 2024, sentenced the controversial crossdresser to the correctional service for six months without any option of fine
