Embattled Senator Ike Ekweremadu’s Son Weds Lover In Abuja Without Father, Mother In Attendance

Lloyd Ikechukwu Ekweremadu, the son of convicted Nigerian senator, Ike Ekweremadu, on Saturday, tied the knot with his lover, Tiffany Adaobi Obinna-Uzor, in Abuja.

Gists9ja reports that the event was held at the Basilica of Grace, Anglican Communion, Gudu District Abuja.

The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, alongside Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwaifuru, former senate president Bukola Saraki, Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, Senator George Thompson Sekibo from Rivers State and others were in attendance even in the absence of the celebrant father.

Nwaifuru, who shared photos of the event on Facebook wrote: “Earlier today, we gathered at the Basilica of Grace, Anglican Communion, Gudu District Abuja, to witness and rejoice with Lloyd Ikechukwu Ekweremadu, the son of our dearest brother and statesman, the former Deputy Senate President – Distinguished Senator Ike Ekweremadu, as he got wedded to his wife, Tiffany Adaobi Obinna-Uzor.
May God shower your union with immeasurable blessings of peace and progress, Amen.”

Recall that Ekweremadu on the 23rd of June 2022, was charged with conspiring to arrange the travel of a 21-year-old boy, David Ukpo, from Lagos into the UK to harvest organs.

On 23rd of March, 2023 Ekweremadu, his wife, and Dr Obeta were convicted of conspiring to exploit the boy for his kidney.
