Few Days After Surviving Convoy Attack, APC House Of Assembly Candidate House In Etche Attacked With Alleged Explosives

My friend and brother Hon Charles Anyanwu has just survived an attack on him in Rivers State. Only a few days ago, he raised an alarm over threats to his life from associates of the Rivers State Governor with two incidents of direct shots at his convoy while he campaigned in Etche his LGA. This evening his home was attacked with dynamites.

Hon. Charles Anyanwu is running for his Constituency’s Assembly seat in Etche and has ran an issues-based campaign that won the hearts of many.

It does appear that Gov. Wike is prepared to bring down the whole State to save his political career. This is the latest in the series of mindboggling attacks aimed at cracking down on the opposition in Rivers State. U.S. Mission Nigeria UK in Nigeria
