Reactions have continued to trail visit of the immediate past governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, on Thursday, December 26, who visited Senator Orji Uzor-Kalu, representing Abia North senatorial district in the Nigerian Senate.
After Uzor-Kalu, a former governor of Abia state, who made this known in a post he shared on his Facebook page.
He also shared a photo of him hugging the Bello, in his residence in the Nigerian capital, Abuja.
Uzor-Kalu, 64, wrote: โI extended โOUK HUGโ to my brother and friend, ex-Gov. Yahaya Bello as we Celebrate Boxing Day together in my residence.โ
The post generated over 1,500 comments on the senatorโs Facebook page, a rarity in recent times.
Comments from many Nigerians condemned the visit, with some making snide comments about the duo.
One commenter, Igidi George, wrote: โFormer Kuje residentsโ, referring to the fact both Kalu and Bello have spent time in Kuje prison due to the allegations of corruption.
