Lebanese Worker Pays Zamfara Wanted Bandit Protection Fee In Advance To Allow Them Work Freely

A trending video online was seen with foreign construction firms reportedly paid bandits in advance to ensure protection and tranquility during projects in Zamfara State.

The video circulating online captures a white Lebanese individual leading a road dualization project in the state.

One of the bandits identified in the video is known as Mai-Jakka, sporting a distinctive Bob Marley-style hairdo. Mai-Jakka is a wanted criminal linked to numerous cases of kidnappings, abductions, rapes, killings, and maimings along the Sokoto-Gusau Road.

Despite his criminal status, he appears to roam freely, raising questions about the effectiveness of the multi-billion Naira drones deployed in the region.
