Man Shot Dead By Suspected Cult Boys In Mile1 Diobu Identified As Mechanic

Suspected cult boys in Diobu have again shot dead One  man identified as John John Okon from Akwa Ibom who was shot dead right inside his Golf 3 Red Wagon Car at Abakeleke by Nanka street at about 9pm on Tuesday night.

Information reaching EastwestReporters is that John John Okon is a mechanic whose work shop is at Ojike by Illabuchi while he resides at Iwofe area in port Harcourt.

Our security Source Says  further Available information on the incidents indicate that it may not be armed robbery attack as speculated but Cultist may have  deliberately and intentionally assassinated the Victim

Intelligence sources points to the fact that a ranking member of one of the street cults in Diobu had warned him severally to leave the girl he was with this night when the gunmen struck But he refused.
Intel indicates that the ranking member of the cult group is also laying claim to the girl to be his lover who was with the deceased inside his car when he was shot.

We also gathered that the girl ran away when he was shot.
That the gunmen after shooting, told one of their men to ‘confirm’. (To ascertain if he is dead).

We also learnt that the wife of the deceased is pregnant. Intelligence sources also indicate that he is always at a particular spot with the girl almost every night.

Although the rivers state police command is yet to confirm the incident, as WhatsApp message sent to the police Public relations Officer has not been replied to, as at the time of press.
