Maternal, New born and Child health Week 2023 Kick Starts Today: Get Free Health Checks Across Rivers Primary Health Care Centers

The first round of Maternal, New born and Child health week 2023 is here!!!!

A statement from the Primary health care management Board says the programme kick starts from the 5th to 9th June 2023 in all our primary health centers, there is something for everybody in all our primary health centres, we will go to schools and religious.
Key survival strategies for:
1.Children such as vitA supplementation from 6months to 5yrs , deworming from 1yr to 5yrs , nutritional screening from 6months to 5yrs, immunization from birth to 5yrs, birth registration for under 5, 2.Women such as antenatal registration, delivery, prevention of mother to child transmission of HIV {PMTCT} by HIV testing, family/life planning, cervical cancer screening, COVID~19 vaccination.

3.Men such as Blood pressure checks, BMI, COVID-19 vaccination Health Education on various household practices to prevent diseases
All these services will be rendered for Free.
