I have received a shocking, regrettable, and sad report this evening that our King, His Royal Majesty, Mene Dr. Suanu T.Y. Baridam, JP, the First Class King 👑 of Ancient Bangha Kingdom, has been shot by some yet-to-be-identified gunmen. This is unacceptable and a threat to Bangha Kingdom and the traditional institution in general. I call on the Commissioner of Police to investigate this incident and bring the perpetrators to justice. I also urge the Governor of the state to join forces with security agencies to ensure the King’s protection going forward. May the Almighty God heal and keep the King.
