Rivers Police Confirms Murder Of 3 Police Officers, Abduction Of Oil and Gas MD At Rumuokoro Flyover

A Viral video shows  That Three(3)  policemen were killed  yesterday at Rumuokoro bridge/flyover, according to Reports says sporadic shooting recorded at  Obio-Akpo local Government Area of Rivers State by armed men

An Eyewitness account narrates that some police escorts were Killed yesterday evening by suspected Kidnappers at the new Rumuokoro flyover.
They were said to have made away with their principal and left the Toyota Landcruiser and Hilux in the middle of the bridge.
Witnesses, as seen in the video (see status) suspect that one of the policemen may still be breathing, but claimed they were too scared to help him for fear of police wahala.
Their are fears that the recent naira change may increase crime rate in the country as men of the underworld may become desperate for cash since they may not be able to exchange their ill gotten wealth for the new notes

When contacted The Police PPRO  Grace Iringe-Koko confirmed the death of the serving police  men and said investigation on going to that effect

She said  “At about 1650hrs a Staff of IGPES Group Of Oil and Gas , On 24/11/22 along Obirikwere flyover a green Sienna Vehicle was flashing them light to stop but they refuse later the managing director Mr Seni Awosike the kidnapped victim ask them to stop whilst they were wearing military uniform along Rumuokoro flyover they opened fire and shot three mobile Police officers , investigation on going
