See New Appointments As Lucky Aiyedatiwa Resumes Office As Ondo Latest Governor

The Chief Judge of Ondo state, Justice Olusegun Odusola has sworn Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa as the governor of the state following the death of Rotimi Akeredolu earlier today.

Aiyedatiwa was sworn in at the governor’s office in Akure at exactly 5:14pm

Present at the ceremony include the Speaker of the state House of Assembly Rt Hon Olamide Oladiji, members of the assembly, the secretary to the State Government, Princess Oladunni Odu and the state chairman of the ruling party APC, Ade Adetimehin. members of the EXCO, political office holders and other party members.

He has appointed, Ebenezer Adeniyan as his Chief Press Secretary, CPS.

Adeniyan, a media entrepreneur had served as the State Secretary and National Officer of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Ondo State. He also runs a weekly news publication, TRACE News Magazine, published in Akure.

Other appointments announced in a statement by Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, Omojuwa Olusegun, in Akure, include Smart Omodunbi Jnr.- Special Assistant to the Governor (Political Matters), Abire Sunday Olugbenga (New Media) Special Assistant to the Governor, Miss Motunrayo Oyedele (Photography) Special Assistant to the Governor and Dr. Temitayo Iperepolu (Domestic and Government House)
