Soldiers Deployed To Quell Pockets Of Violence Reported Around Agege, Ojota, Ketu And Ikorodu In Lagos

Pockets of violence’s have been reported across Lagos State, here are unrests at Mile 12 and other parts of Lagos State with gunshots being heard on Friday, February 17, 2023.

According to the voice behind one of the videos going viral online said, “Everybody is turning back to Ikorodu, there is shooting, heavy shooting. You can see cars going back to Ikorodu inside .
Lagos PPRO has confirmed the unrest at Mile12 saying reinforcement has been deployed .The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the unrest happening in the Mile 12 area of Lagos State. He made this known via his Twitter handle on Thursday.

It has also been confirmed that there are riots in other parts of Lagos. There are videos on Twitter of unrests at Ikorodu, Ojota, Agege and Ketu .
