Women Groups In Rivers State Protest Alleged INEC Election Manipulation, Insist On Level Playing Ground

Groups of women under various women groups in Rivers state are right now staging a peaceful protest at the state INEC office  along Aba road despite the heavy security presence

The women who were chanting in various mourning songs with various inscriptions written on placards said all they are asking for is a common playing ground for their votes to be counted.

They alleged that they were robbed of their votes during the presidential elections that the results uploaded does not reflect what happened at the polling units, despite INEC assurances that they are apolitical.

They said they want the coming election of march 18th  to be peaceful devoid of favoritism, so that peoples mandate will reflect in vote cast.
