Court Order RSIEC To Use INEC 2023 Voters Register

A Port Harcourt high court has ordered Rivers State independent Electoral  commissions to conduct  the 2024 local government election using the 2023 INEC Voters Register

The Rivers State High Court Justice I. P. C. Igwe of granted the interlocutory order compelling RISIEC to conduct Local Council Elections on Saturday October 5, 2024 or any other date also compells Police and all security agencies to provide adequate security for the Elections.
