Expect “Her Voice” NAWOJ Radio Station In The Next 3 Years- President Ladi Bala Promises When Re-elected

As the campaigns for the 32nd Triennial Delegates Conference for the Nigerian Association of Women Journalist, NAWOJ billed for Saturday 25th November 2023 approaches, The incumbent president Ladi Bala who is seeking a re-election landed in port Harcourt with a team of other contestants to seek for vote for another three years.

Speaking to women Journalist at the Moscow road of NUJ, NAWOJ president Ladi Bala thanked the women present for receiving them and relayed her achievements in the past three Years and what more NAWOJ stands to Benefit in the coming years if re-elected.

she said “I am here in Rivers State to solicit support from women journalist, noting that Rivers state delegates are important due to the number of delegates that would be coming to the election.

she said “under our administrations in the last three years, we have been able to provide training for female journalist in rivers state, we have been able to transfer and donated office Equipment, It just an opportunity to come around and give them our report, having served for three and I came to tell them the success story we have recorded because of the mandate they gave us three years ago and to equally ask them that they come over to Abuja and give us another mandate for three years so that we can consolidate on the achievements we have recorded. especially the Land that we have acquired for NAWOJ, We want to build that Land which is meant for the national secretariat of NAWOJ”

“NAWOJ in its existence of 34 years never had an office until we came on board, we have have being able to acquire a national secretariat with two staff working well furnished with a conference hall and that is our corporate Identity for now. we have been able to acquire a land we need an opportunity to be able to build on that Land that we have acquired, have a permanent National secretariat where every member of NAWOJ can access at anytime whenever they are in Abuja, so that is the tall dream that we have when given the mandate for another three year, we equally planning to apple for a Radio Licence , a community Radio license, HER voice radio License which is just NAWOJ radio station that would give Nigeria woman that voice for to be heard , basically this are the things we intend to achieve when we come on board by the grace of God next week
