A report from Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, Abuja says a police officer (name withheld ) attached to the Kwali Division of the Federal Capital Territory police command has reportedly died at a Hotel In the Kwali area council of the Federal Capital Territory. According to AIT, a police report made available to the station said the police officer (an Inspector ) had lodged in a Hotel with a young Lady (name withheld) from Dutse who allegedly came courtesy of his invitation.
The Report has it that on the 15th of January, the Manager of the Hotel, Danlami Palasa Mine came to the police station to report a sudden and unnatural death in his Hotel.
In her statement contained in the report , the Lady, who is currently understood to be in Police custody claimed that she met the victim online and she was invited over by him and on arrival, she was taken to the Hotel where they both lodged and engaged in intimate activities before they slept off.
However, tragedy occurred when at about 6 AM the following morning, the Officer woke her up for another round of intimacy during which his breath became erratic and eventually stopped moving.
The was said to have tried to revive the Police officer with water without success before raising an alarm and calling the attention of the Hotel management.
According to the report, the victim was rushed to the Hospital where he was confirmed dead by the Doctor on duty and items recovered from the room included water Melon and drugs suspected to be Aphrodisiac.
The police said the body of the deceased has been deposited in the mortuary for further investigation.
Meanwhile, the FCT Police Command is yet to release any official statements on the incident.
