Rivers CP Visits GOC 6 Division In Port Harcourt, Condole”s With Nigerian Army Over The Death Of COAS, Lagbaja

The Commissioner of Police Rivers State Police Command,

CP Mustapha Mohammed Bala, psc, paid a condolence visit to the GOC 6 Division Headquarters, Nigerian Army, in Port Harcourt today Tuesday, 12th November 2024 at 1150hrs, following the passing of Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja. He was accompanied in the visit by his Management Team. Upon arrival, they were received by the GOC, and other high-ranking military officers.

CP Bala praised the late Army Chief, describing him as a disciplined, honest, and fine gentleman who will be deeply missed. He expressed heartfelt sympathy to the GOC and the entire Nigerian Army, acknowledging the sudden and untimely nature of Lt. General Lagbaja’s passing. CP Bala also offered prayers for the repose of the soul of the late Army helmsman and strength for those grieving.

This visit demonstrates CP Bala’s commitment to building strong relationships with other security agencies in the State.

The highlight of the visit was the signing of the condolence register by the Commissioner of Police.
