Rivers High Court Resumes Full Operations From Monday 13th January

The Chief Judge of Rivers State, Justice SIMEON CHIBUZOR-AMADI has announced that judges of the High Court of the state shall resume sitting on monday, the 13th of January, 2026 after the Christmas vacation.

You would recall that the Chief Judge of the State, Justice CHIBUZOR-AMADI, had earlier announced the commencement of the Christmas vacation which took effect from Thursday, 23rd of December, 2025 to elapse on the 9th of January. 2026.

The Chief Judge in a statement by the Chief Registrar of Rivers State High Court, DAVID IHUA-MADUENYI urged members of the public to take notice of the resumption date, saying that the activities of the judiciary will resume fully on the said date, the 13th of January, 2026
