Rivers State Govt Begins Allocation Of Shops At PH Mile1 Market

The Rivers State Government has commenced the process of allocation of shops at the Mile One (Rumuwoji) Market in Port Harcourt Local Government Area.

A publication on the Tide Newspaper of Monday 25th March 2024, listed names of 602 names as approved allotees of the shops.

Captioned, Rivers State Government Reconciliatory Committee on Lock-up Shops at Mile One (Rumuwoji) Market, the publication was signed by Mr. Boma Wakama, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Housing.

Traders at the Mile one market would be expected to look up their names on the publication to confirm their status.

Thereafter, they would be required to visit the Rivers Ministry of Housing, 6th floor, Point Block at the Rivers State Secretariat Complex to pick up designated forms and be instructed further on what to do.
