A female Teacher in Community Senior Secondary School Isiodu in Emohua LGA has narrated how she was brutalized, her clothe torn allegedly by her Principal Mr Kingsley Kabari Sorne and later arrested by Anti-cultism Police unit.
Miss Nkomadu disclosed that after the WAEC Exams yesterday (June 22,2023) the Principal insisted that the students must pay 3500 before collecting their smart cards. Some of the teachers told him no, including one Mr. Godspower. That this cards should be given to the students without any charges.
He managed to issue out few and retained that of some of the students
.Nkomadu said she went to meet the Principal in his office, to ask that the students be given their smart cards.
Nkomadu explained that the Principal bluntly refused said he’s not going to give them the smart card because they were owing his malpractice money.
The female Teacher disclosed that he asked her to leave his office, when she refused and kept begging, next thing, the Principal got up, bounced on her and started beating her up, tore her clothe.
She said some of the WAEC Students who were there tried in rescuing her and raised alarm that attracted a male teacher one Mr. Godspower Woke who came in to hold him and stop him from beating her.
She said the Principal went outside to make a call and anti- cultism van unit at Isiodu junction with police men came and arrested she and Mr. Godspower alleging that both of them came to his office to beat him up.
Nkomadu explained that before yesterday (Thursday) the Principal threatened her in the presence of Chiefs and parents Teachers Association meeting accusing her of being the one telling people that he (Principal ) was collecting illegal levy.
The female Teacher said while she was being taken away by the Police a lady called her and said is the Principal’s wife. She said the Principal’s wife who had called her before to threaten her, also called again yesterday to say she will deal with her .
The female Teacher said she wondered why the Principal did not report to Rumuji Divisional Police headquarters in charge of the area instead went to Anti-cultism where he has his friends.
she said, she and the male Teacher arrested was released late in the night on Thursday and she did not get fair hearing at the Anti-cultism Police unit .
However, Mr. Kingsley Kabari in his response in an audio obtained by our reporter denied the allegation levied against him by Blessing Nkomadu.
Mr Kabari said he is not involve in exam malpractice neither did he Assault Miss Nkomadu .
Mr Kabari added that it was Miss Nkomadu who brought there guys to best him up.
