A 30-year-old man, Ani Chisom Bright, has reportedly ended his life following frustration over his Oga’s refusal to fulfill an agreed settlement after seven years of service.
According to a suicide note left by the deceased, Ani accused his Oga, identified as Mr. Innocent Ulasi of Otolo Cars, Lagos, of withholding a promised financial settlement after he worked under him for seven years.
“And for my oga, Innocent Ulasi (Otolo Cars), we will meet each other soon, but before we do that, you will hear from me soon. You made me go through a lot after serving you for seven years with hard labor,” the note read. The message, titled “God is the Greatest,” expressed deep frustration and anguish.
It was gathered that Ani consumed a p0is0n0us substance to end his life.
