An APC chieftain in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State. Hon. Ogunleye Rotimi Franklin Rotex, has strongly condemned the violent attack on the Ipele community, where the Divisional Police Headquarters was set ablaze by unknown gunmen.
In a statement released to Our Heritage Reporter online New on Thursday morning, the frontline House of Assembly,Owo constituency 2 Aspirant described the incident as unfortunate and disturbing.
He expressed deep concern over the disruption of peace and security in the area, especially on a night meant for celebration and reflection as residents ushered in the New Year 2026.

The APC chieftain in Owo Local Government, Hon Ogunleye Rotimi Franklin Rotex condemns the brutal attacks on Ipele community where the Divisional Police Headquarters, Ipele was burnt down by the unknown gunmen.
The ugly incident occurred yesterday night, Dec. 31, 2025. The unknown bandits invaded the community firing sporadically and causing panic among the residents.
A night supposed to be a joyous Cross over night to the new year 2026, but the attackers decided to cause panic in the society.
He urges the residents to remain calm as the security operatives and Ondo State Government have been on top of the matter to straighten adequate security and brought the perpetrators to book.
