Police Arrest 12 Persons Over Attack On Atiku Loyalist Pasting Bill Boards In Omuma LGA

The Rivers state commissioner of police at an event  to sensitize Political Parties Leaders and Candidates in the state on Wednesday says the command has Launched Investigation into the Sunday events where supporters of Atiku who where pasting posters in OMUMA LGA were attacked by suspected thugs loyal to another party.

The CP in reactions to what the command has done since the viral Video of  some persons who went to paste posters of a particular candidate of a political party in Omuma Local Government area, CP Effiong revealed that twelve suspects have been arrested and at the end of Investigation, the ones found culpable will be arraigned in court.

He said the internet technology has assisted the police, to expand their search and at least 12 persons are in police dragnets and that more will be arrested
