Daredevil Gunmen Allegedly Kidnapped Anambra Commissioner For Youth, Wife, Kills Aide

The Commissioner for Youths Development in Anambra State, Hon Patrick Aghamba and wife have been reportedly kidnapped.

Sources said an aide of the commissioner, whose name was given as Mr ABK Offiah, was killed in the process.

Though the incident has not been confirmed,  learnt that they were travelling to Abuja, when they were kidnapped.

The abduction occurred while they were traveling to Abuja for the wedding of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s daughter scheduled for Saturday 17th August. governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, Adaora, who had her traditional wedding last weekend.

Reports indicate that the incident took place on Friday, August 16. Tragically, one of the commissioner’s aides from Onitsha was killed during the attack.

As of now, the details surrounding the kidnapping remain unclear. Authorities are working to gather more information and ensure the safe return of the commissioner and his wife. The incident underscores the ongoing security challenges and the urgent need for measures to protect public officials and citizens alike.
