Health Minister Receives Rotary International Polio Ambassador to Nigeria, Sir Emeka Offor Seeks Partnership

The Founder of Sir Emeka Offor Foundation (SEOF), Sir Dr. Emeka Offor, who serves as Rotary International Polio Ambassador to Nigeria, earlier today, paid a courtesy visit to Nigeria’s Minister of Health and Social Affairs, Prof. Mohammadu Ali Pate, ahead of the upcoming visit of Rotary International President, Gordon Mclnally to Nigeria.

Sir Dr. Emeka Offor informed the Honourable Minister of the upcoming visit of the Rotary International President and invited him to take part in some of the activities lined up for the 3-Day working visit.

Their discussions also revolved around areas of mutual cooperation and partnership between the Federal Ministry of Health, Sir Emeka Offor Foundation and Rotary International. Such notable areas of Polio surveillance, maternal and child health, continuous immunization and malaria eradication were also discussed.

SEOF delegation included, Chief of Staff to Sir Emeka Offor, AIG Chris Ezike Rtd, Past District Governor of Rotary International and Trustee-Elect of the Rotary Foundation, Ijeoma Pearl Okoro, and other members of the team.

Rotary International President is expected to arrive the country on Friday, 15th of March, 2024.
