Kaduna Runji Community Attacked Again: 2 Weeks After 33 Persons Buried, Gunmen Using Herds Of Cattle As Cover Strikes Again

A traditional leader in Runji Community of Zango Kataf Local Government Area Mr. Koniyan Ben has confirmed a renewed attack and the killing of One Danladi Markus Duduk whose resident is close to Anglican Church in the community.

The traditional leader who spoke to our correspondent in a Telephone said the assailant came through the cover of herds of cattle some few minutes after 2 O’clock this afternoon and started firing shots using sophisticated guns including a revolver machine gun which scared away all people in the community.

He said the attack took only a few minutes after which the assailants rushed back towards the direction of Zango Urban using the cows as cover up.

Mr. Koniyan narrated that it was after they ran away that the community members went to the cluster where the attack occurred and found the dead body of Danladi Duduk lying in cold blood by a shade near his house.

Runji community is where 33 people were confirmed killed and about 40 houses burnt to ashes in a night attack by bandits Two weeks ago.
