Man Breaks Wife’s Head For Allegedly Protesting Against Fubara in Port Harcourt

A man identified as Theophilus Ndiamzi Amadi, a native of Agba-Ndele community in Emohua Local Government Area, allegedly assaulted his wife, causing a head injury. The incident occurred after she received 2,000 Naira to participate in a rally organized by Pro-Wike women in Port Harcourt.

According to reports, Amadi’s who is a civil servant in Rivers State Ministry of Education anger stemmed from his dissatisfaction with the former governor of Rivers State, now the FCT Minister, whom he felt did not employ or promote civil servants during his 8yrs tenure.

However, his anger was further provoked when he recalled how the last 100,000 Naira Christmas bonus, provided by Governor Siminialaye Fubara, was used to settle their rent

Rivers state police is yet to confirm the matter , probably not yet officially reported to the police for action on domestic violence
