Mother Of All Unions, NCSU Celebrates 111 Years Of Contributing In Improving Workers Welfare

The Chairman of The Nigerian civil service union and its state executives on Saturday marked the unions one hundred and eleven years of its existence

Speaking to Journalist at mini event put together  to celebrate the day the  state chairman  of NCSU Comrade Chucks Osummah said the union has impacted so many lives, we fight for the welfare of civil servants,  we speak out for the government to hear us any time we are not promoted, the past government of Rivers state up until its exit did not promote any civil servant which demoralized civil servants in the state but thank God that the present Governor of rivers state Sir Similaye Fubara for his inputs to approve that huge sums should be kept aside for the payment of  Pensions, Gratuities and death benefits be paid to all retired civil servants.

we also believe that Sir Similaye Fubara will carry us the Civil servants along  because He is one of us who grew from the scratch of civil service to the exalted office of the state Governor,

we also believe that Our Governor will be the first to implement subsidy removal palliatives because the effects are biting so hard, for the first time in Rivers State we have a listening ear governor so we have no doubts that our governor will put smiles on the faces of civil servants by also donating Buses to the Union to cushion the effects of subsidy removal on our members
