This is according to The News Chronicles “Over 200 terrorists lost their lives when a boat they were traveling in sank near the village of Sabon Biri in Sokoto, on Monday.

The incident occurred just 48 hours after these terrorists had launched an attack on a nearby village in Sokoto State.

The group, responsible for a recent wave of violence in the region, met their end as the overloaded boat capsized in the waters.

All those on board reportedly perished immediately. The terrorists had been attempting to flee the area after their brutal assault on the village, but their escape was cut short by the sudden disaster.
