Police Inspector Found Dead in Abuja Hotel After Romantic Night With A Lady He Met Online

A police officer identified as Inspector Lawal Ibrahim has been found dead in a hotel room in Abuja under circumstances that have sparked public attention and ongoing investigations.
According to reports, the deceased officer allegedly checked into Palasa Hotel, Abuja, with a woman identified as Maryam Abba, whom he reportedly met online about three months ago. Sources claim the meeting took place last week.
It was gathered that the pair spent the evening and night together. However, trouble reportedly began in the early hours of the morning when Inspector Ibrahim allegedly developed breathing difficulties and became unresponsive shortly after the encounter.

Upon arrival, police officers found Inspector Ibrahim lifeless in the hotel room. He was later taken to Abuja Teaching Hospital, where he was confirmed dead by medical personnel.

Items reportedly recovered from the room include a watermelon, an alleged sexual enhancement substance, and a phone charger. The officer was also said to have been wearing a wedding ring at the time of the incident.
Maryam Abba has since been arrested and detained as investigations continue to determine the exact cause of death and the events leading up to it.
As of the time of filing this report, the Nigeria Police Force has not released an official statement on the incident.
Further updates are expected as investigations progress.
