Prominent Nigeria Emir Sanusi Confirmed Dead In Abuja Hospital

The emir’s son Hameem Nuhu confirmed his death to newsmen, saying the first class monarch died at Cedercrest Hospital in Abuja at about 5pm on Tuesday.

Born in 1945 at Yargaba village in Dutse, the capital of Jigawa State, Dr Sanusi attended Dutse Elementary School from 1952 to 1956.

 

After his post primary education, he obtained a National Certificate in Education, NCE, from the Ahmadu Bello University, ABU Zaria, and later a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in International Business from Ohio University, United States of America.
He became the emir of Dutse in 1995.
