Renowned Elder Statesman, Pa Edwin Clark Joins Ancestors Aged 97

Edwin Clark, a former Federal Commissioner for Information and prominent South-South leader, has passed away at the age of 97.
As reported by Vanguard, according to a statement from the Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, Clark died on Monday night, February 17, 2025. The statement, signed by Prof. C. C. Clark, expressed the family’s gratitude for the support and prayers during this time of loss.

The statement reads: “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, announces the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday, February 17, 2025. We appreciate your prayers, and further details will be shared by the family.”
Clark’s passing comes just days after the death of Afenifere leader Ayo Adebanjo, who was 96 years old.
