Serving Northern Senator Escapes Alleged Assassination Attempt

A prominent opposition member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has  confirmed the via his verified Facebook account late on Wednesday that he escaped assassination attempt on new day

Lawal Adamu Usman, the senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, has reportedly survived an alleged assassination attempt.

The senator, who was elected to the Senate in 2023, did not provide detailed information about the circumstances surrounding the alleged attack.
Senator Usman said, “I just escaped an assassination attempt by some thugs in Kaduna North.”
