Wide Jubilations As Court Grants Dele Farotimi N30m Bail

Magistrate Court sitting in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, has granted bail to the human rights lawyer and activist, Dele Farotimi, over an alleged defamation suit slammed against him.

The Chief Magistrate, Abayomi Adeosun, granted the bail application from the defence counsel on Friday. He said the defendants must provide two sureties with the condition that one of them must be a house owner in Ado-Ekiti.BREAKING: Court Grants Dele Farotimi N30m Bail

The court also held that the defendant should submit his international passport and refrain from granting media interviews with both electronic or print, pending the determination of the substantive suit.
