Tragedy struck on Tuesday,April 22nd,2025 as a middle aged woman whose identity is yet to be ascertained collapsed and died inside a toilet at Mile 3 motor park in Diobu,PortHarcourt,Rivers state minutes after entering the convenience.
We learnt that the offficials incharge of the public toilet became anxious when the woman who paid to use the toilet did not come out after several minutes she entered the toilet.
We gathered that the officials went and knocked the door but there was no response which prompted them to force the toilet door open and found the woman dead.
The Chairman of the Mile 3 Park toilet,Chigozie Amadi confirmed the incident to Revelation Agents.
He said “yes the incident is true.We do not know the woman.We are still looking for a way to connect to the deceased woman’s family.We have reported to the Nkpolu Police Division,the Police are here now “.
The Spokesperson for the Rivers State Police Command,SP Grace Iringe Koko was yet to respond to enquiries on the incident by our reporter.
However,as at 5:59 pm on Tuesday when our correspondent visited the scene, Police officers and officials from RIWAMA, Rivers state are making effort to evacuate the corpse to the mortuary.
