2 Die As Popular Scavenger, Snatches AK47 Riffle From Rivers Ex-Gov Security Guard, Open Fire

There was pandemonium on Saturday, December 16,2023 at  Chinda/Ada George when a man known as Nuhu reportedly snatched an AK 47 riffle from  one of  the conventional security guard attached to the house of ex-Governor at AdaGeorge, Portharcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria

We gathered that the said Nuhu a popular scavenger  suspected to have taken hard drug (Colo’s) ran with  the AK 47 riffle he snatched from the security personnel to Location road off Chinda way Mile 4,opposite Boropit where he began to shoot indiscriminately which resulted to the killing of another man said to be a scavenger as other people scampered for safety .

Our source disclosed that Police officers arrived the scene after Nuhu was said to have shot a man dead  and the said Nuhu engaged the Police officers in shoot out but was neutralized by the Police while the AK 47 riffle was retrieved by the security operative.

Video obtained and seen by our reporter showed the dead body of Nuhu and  the other Man.

The source revealed that Police officer from Rupakani(Ada George Police Division) and other officers came to retrieve the  two corpse.

We gathered that before Nuhu when to snatch the AK 47 riffle he was chasing other of ethnic brothers with dagger in the morning.

The spokesperson for the Rivers State Police Command, SP Grace Iringe Koko confirmed the shooting incident but said details are sketchy as at press time.
