Weird Fraud Case: Native Doctor Collects N2.5m From Adamawa Businessman To Print N30m Worth Of Money

A 45-year-old herbalist, Usman Garba, has been arrested by police in Adamawa State for allegedly duping a businessman, Gabriel Ishaku, of the sum of ₦2,500,000.

Mr. Ishaku claimed he sent the monies to the herbalist for sacrifices that would pave the way for printing of ₦30,000,000 worth of money.

The duped recalled what transpired: “He told me the money was to be used to buy monkeys, foxes, goats, dogs, and other animals for sacrifices. He assured me that the spiritual world had favor me.

“He said the spirits needed the sacrifices to enable them to print money for me, about ₦30,000,000.

“He kept demanding from time to time until he swindled me of ₦2,500,000. After a long period of no results, I stopped sending him money,” he adds.

Meanwhile, the arrested herbalist, confessed that instead of the anticipated sacrifices he was contracted to perform for the client, he was using the money to cater for the needs of his 11-member family in Kano, consisting of two wives and eight children.

He, however claimed that the total sum he duped Ishaku was ₦700,000 and not ₦2,500,000.

Hear him: “I collected a total of ₦700,000 and not ₦2,500,000 as he had claimed. I used the money to feed my family, you know things are hard in this country.”
