APC Removes Amaechi’s Ally, Victor Gaidom As Zonal Chairman

The All Progressive Congress South South Zone has removed Chief Victor Giadom, an ally of Former Minister of Transportation Rt Hon Rotimi Amaechi as the Zonal Chairman of the All Progressive Congress for the zone. Also removed is the Zonal Secretary Mr Ita Udosen.

According to information, the two officials were removed during an extraordinary meeting of the zone held in Port Harcourt the Rivers State Capital on Sunday, April 30th, 2023.

They accused the now removed Zonal Chairman for failing to call meeting of the zone, make use of the zonal office in Port Harcourt, refusal to accept petitions from states that made up the zone among others.

Barr Blessing Agbomere, the organizing secretary was appointed to act as acting Zonal Chairman.
