CIMPARR-NIGERIA Hails Rivers Police Command For Speedy Arrest, Investigation and Recovery Of Over N4.2m Extorted From Victim

Civil-Military Police and Paramilitary Relations CIMPARR-NIGERIA sincerely commend the effort of the Nigeria Police, Rivers State Command for the speedy conclusion on the case involving three of its senior officers which borders on unlawful abduction and extortion to the tune of Three Thousand US Dollars, equivalent of Four Million, Two Hundred Thousand Naira only.
We thank them for the recovery of the said amount and returning it to the owner, the disciplining of those involved this great misconduct and regaining public trust in the police force.
It is commendable to see the Nigeria Police, Rivers State Command taking swift action in addressing such misconduct within their ranks. The unlawful abduction and extortion committed by these senior officers not only tarnishes the reputation of the police force but also erodes public trust.
