Gunmen Suspected To Be Assassin Invade Home Of President General, Umuoji Community In Idemili North LGA Murder Him In Cold Blood

Gunmen suspected to be Assassin stormed the country home of Chief Silas Onyima, the President-General of Umuoji Community in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State and shot him dead

Although, the details of the incident are still sketchy, but it was gathered that the hoodlums, numbering about 15, invaded the deceased’s home on Friday evening and shot him dead thereby throwing the community into panic.

The slain PG whose video has been circulating online was seen naked inside his bathroom in his own pool of blood with wounds all over his body.

Details of his murder has remained sketchy as of the time of filling this report, but a source confirmed that he was murdered in his house located in Umuobia village, Umuoji.  We gathered that before his Murder, the community has been embroiled in a crisis with two villages in the community pitted against each other in a land dispute.

The PG, the source said, has been at the middle of the land issues and was recently arrested in his base in port Harcourt in the same respect by one of the villages.

This is coming a year or so after the murder of another President General of Obosi town in Idemili North local government area.
