Notorious Cult Kingpin aka 2Baba, Others Flee As Police Foiled Planned Attack By Cultists In Ahoada East

The Rivers State Police command has foiled a planned attack on Odiemude Community in Ahoada East LGA by members of suspected cult groups on Thursday 22 June,2023.

We learnt that suspected cultists led by a notorious Kingpin aka 2baba and his men were planning to attack Odiemude Community in Ahoada East LGA when some good Samaritan informed the Police.

We gathered that the DPO of Ahoada and his men stormed the hideout of the cultists in the community but 2baba and his men who sighted the Police on time due to the terrain of their hideout escaped across the River .

Public Relations Officer of AKoh Kingdom in Ahoada East, Hector Chinem told our correspondent that before now, the Police have not been able to storm the hideout of the criminals.

The AKoh Kingdom PRO commended the Commissioner of Police and the men and officers of the Ahoada Police Division for the feat so far. He said Ahoada East and it’s community has being calm so far since the new DPO was deployed.

Mr Chinem encouraged the LGA Chairmen of Ahoada East and West to support the Police DPOs in the two LGAs to ride the communities of criminals.

Meanwhile the Spokesperson for the Rivers State Police command, SP Grace Iringe Koko confirmed the incident.

SP Koko added that investigation is ongoing.
