Rivers Gov.Fubara Express Gratitude As 12 PDP Governors Vows Full Support In Combating Political Distraction

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has expressed gratitude for the support of his colleagues in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) amidst the political turmoil in his state.Following the PDP Governors’ Forum meeting in Enugu on Wednesday, Fubara stated on social media that the gathering was “positive and rewarding” and focused on delivering democracy dividends to their people.

Earlier the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors, Board of Trustees, National Working Committee and other organs have vowed total support for the Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara and his government, saying that they would do everything possible to ensure the resolution of the political crisis in the State.

They have also advised those fanning the embers of conflict and crisis with the aim of distracting the Governor and destabilizing the government to desist, and allow him deliver good governance to Rivers people unimpeded.

These form part of a communique issued at the end of the PDP Governors’ Forum meeting in Government House, Enugu on Wednesday.
