Urgent Concerns On Recent Demolition Of Igbo’s Properties In Delta State: Igbo Bu Igbo National Leadership Visit Oshimili South Assembly Member

The National Leader of Igbo bu Igbo Southeast Forum, Chief Henry obiajulu Uzozie, has paid official visit to Honorable Barrister ifechukwukwu Bridget Anyafulu at her Delta State House of Assembly office.

Chief Uzozie who is also the Finance director of Henry Marshall foundation said the purpose of the visit was to bring to her attention the recent demolitions of Igbo people’s properties in Delta State, other urgent needs which have been a persistent concern for the Igbos in her constituency.

Honorable Bridget Anyafulu  who received Chief Uzozie, who is also the Finance director of Henry Marshall foundation  explained that the demolitions were due to encroachment on government land, which was designated for overriding public interest. She acknowledged that the affected individuals were victims of circumstances and expressed her sympathy.

Chief Uzozie thanked her for her time and also commended the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for his leadership in accepting Igbos from the Southeast into his administration and  supporting the development of the state.

He also praised Honorable Bridget Anyafulu for her commitment to serving the people of Oshimili South and her show of love to the masses.

Chief Uzozie emphasized that Igbo bu Igbo Southeast Forum is non-partisan ideology that promotes good governance. Equity, justices and fairness across nigeria, He assured Honorable Bridget that the Igbos in her constituency are willing to support Hon chief Ezenyili Kelvin obi for local government chairman election, acknowledging his good performance in his previous administration and his efforts to bring peace to the state at large, He noted that their government is transparent, which is a symbol of good governance.
