Why Is Police Hiding, Name, Identity Of My Petitioners- Rev Ali K. Dikwa Queries Faulty Police Invitation Letter

The Nigeria police force, Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), Abuja, has invited Rev, Kallamu Musa Ali Dikwa to report in its office.

Rev. Ali Dikwa who’s being invited by the police on alleged conspiracy and defamation, asked to report on 29th of August 2024.

The fearless civil rights activists and Director General: Center for Justice on Religious and Ethnicity in Nigeria, Rev. Ali Dikwa, is Kanuri by tribe and a serial critics of bad leadership and corruption.

His letter of invitation dated 20th August 2024, and made available to newsmen was signed by the commissioner of police, General Investigation (GI), FCID, ABUJA, CP Enyinnaya I. Adiogu.

The letter read in parts: This office is investigating an alleged case of conspiracy and defamation, in which your name featured prominently.

In furtherance to police investigation, and in observation of the principle of fair hearing, you are invited to interview the commissioner of police, General investigation section, through the O/C Team ‘E’ on the Thursday 29th August, 2024 by 100hrs, at room 110, Ground floor, General Investigation section, Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), Area 10 Garki, Abuja.

“This invitation is compiled by urgent law Enforcement requirement as provided for in section 53 (2) (a) of Administration of criminal Justice Act, 2015.

Accept the warmest regards of the commissioner of police, General investigation section, force criminal investigation Department (FCID) Abuja please”. It stated.

In his reaction, Rev. Dikwa, in a chat, said they have written several petition against fraudulent activities including N13 billion naira allegedly removed from Northeast Development Commission by the vice President Shettima.

Also in a statement, he expressed surprised that the name of the petitioner was not mentioned in the letter of invitation to him on alleged case of Conspiracy and Defamation in which his name featured prominently.

While he admitted that he has been fighting and exposing corrupt activities as human rights activist, he wondered why the Nigeria Police is hiding the name and identity of his petitioners.

His words “My Invitation by the Commissioner of Police General Investigation Section Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), the Nigeria Police Force Area 10, Garki Abuja; names of my petitioners are not mention in the letter.
“They just mention an alleged case of Conspiracy and Defamation in which my name featured prominently.

“Yes, I’m a Reverend, fighting and exposing corrupt activities as human rights activist, I wonder why the Nigeria Police is hiding the names and identity of my petitioners?

“Is there any hiding agenda by the police to intimidate, harass and to harm me or the police is being use by political thugs and their political masters at the states and national levels or what?”, he queried.

“The security agencies have abandoned their real job to protect lives and property of Nigerian masses, using them by the corrupt and criminal politicians through their criminal political thugs.

“Politicians are diverting government resources to themselves and their families and also abducting underaged Christian girls converting them to Islam forcefully and marrying them off to Muslim youths forcefully.

“We have written a lots of petitions against these criminal politicians and their traditional rulers’ activities in recent time but anti-graft agencies bedded it after inviting him for adoption”, he stated.            By Achadu Gabriel, Kaduna
