Why Prof Soludo May Not Contest The 2025 Anambra Governorship Election

Anambra Governor Prof Chukwuma Soludo Presently does not a party, as His faction in APGA has been buried. He is yet to go and beg Chief Edozie Njoku and ask for forgiveness for funding Barr Sly Ezeokenwa and wasting the time of APGA to heal and move on.

His attempts to defect to APC have been met with resistance by the APC leaders.

He is trying to negotiate PDP but the umbrella party is dead in Anambra and can’t be revived.

Labour party is a no go area for him.

Soludo has no capacity to go into a smaller party like Senator Ifeanyi Ubah did with YPP in 2019 and make any impact.

It is really a frustrating period for him now. He may quit and return to his gym in London.
