8 Dead, As Container Falls On Top Of Passengers Bus At Ojuelegba Bridge (Photos)

A container had fallen on a bus carrying passengers at the Ojuelegba bridge in Lagos on Sunday.

According to @PoojaMedia an eyewitness (Uber driver) had said that the trailer wanted to block the bus from overtaking him.

Lastma officials on Twitter also wrote, “A container laden truck has fallen on a bus at Ojuelegba, inwards Fadeyi. Effort is currently being made towards rescue and evacuation.”

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority officials were seen trying to rescue the victims.

An eyewitness said that the truck driver wanted to block the bus from overtaking him.

It was gathered that only one out of nine passengers involved was rescued alive.
