Don’t Drag Hon. Edison Ehie Into The Security Crisis Rocking Parts of Ahoada East LGA – Ekpeye Student Union Warns Faceless Groups

The Students Community and youth group in Ekpeye Ethics Nationality have faulted the claims by a group known as Concerned Ekpeye for Development and Peace which blamed the attitude of the state governor SIMINALAYI FUBARA and a member representing Ahoada East state constituency two, EDISON EHIE on the insecurity in the area.

The President General of National Union of Ekpeye Student, Worldwide, KING WALDON-NGOZI in a media briefing in Port Harcourt described the group as faceless and sponsored to cause trouble in the area. he said pointing to the very unfortunate  and regrettable  killings  of few days ago, the community where this happened is outside the constituency represented by Rt Hon, Edison Ehie, that community falls under the leadership of another  Assembly member

He said rather than calling out the House of Assembly member, the group should call the Local Government Council Chairman who is the chief security officer  who receives direct allocation and security votes, should be urged to improve on security of lives and properties in the area.

On his part, the Secretary of Ekpeye Youth Worldwide, ADOKIYE OYAGIRI called on security agencies to investigate the group as their comment could cause crisis if not checked,  He said its on record that governor, SIMINALAYI FUBARA on receiving the terrible news of the killing of the Police DPO SP Bako Angbashim Commiserated with the police authorities and placed a 100 million Naira bounty against the notorious cultist and his gang but wondered why a law maker would be blamed on issue of insecurity in an area that is not directly under his purview as a lawmaker.
