Missing Youth Leaders: Politicians Accused Of Kidnap Urge Ekinigbo Youths To Report To Police

Some youths from Rumuigbo and Ekingibo Nkpolu had on Friday evening took to the road to protest over some community crisis, where  they threatened to ground activities by 10 am the following day by blocking Ikwerre Road and East West road by Nkpolu if the two youths President from the community allegedly Whisked away on orders of former chief of staff, Tony Okocha in Abuja on Wednesday.

The Protesting youths claimed that the youth president were lured to Abuja on invitation by the IGP and on getting to force headquarter were directed to speak with DIGs and after a peaceful meeting they were instructed to go back home and settle their ongoing communal Chieftain crisis but was allegedly picked up by another group of men dressed in police uniform who claims to be acting on orders from above.
The protesting Youths were demanding for unconditional release of the two youths President from both communities that were allegedly kidnaped on the orders from the accused politicians and two others.

When contacted the rivers state police PRO kept mum on the matter, as text messages calls put across to her was not responded to  as at the time of filling this report

Meanwhile our correspondent contacted the accused Tony Okocha who is a former chief of staff to Former governor Rotimi Amaechi And the following conversation ensued:

Reporter: I covered a protest by Ekingibo youth where they Accuse you of Kidnapping two youths from Rumuigbo in Abuja, We would like you to react to the accusations?

Hon, Okocha: Kidnap cases are reported to security agencies for necessary actions. It’s unheard-of that kidnap or abduction of someone is resolved through protest. So, what in your view, should I respond to pls?.

Reporter: Honorable Sir, good Afternoon, Its because they were carrying placards with your name as inscriptions, we needed you to be aware to get your own side of the story and Moreso Policemen where aware because we spotted their van close to the junction but on standby. can we as newsmen get your own side of the story?

Hon. Okocha: Pls advice them to report me to the security agencies since they are sure that I kidnapped two of their sons Every sane Nigerian knows that issues of kidnap or abductions are within the precincts of the security agencies.
If the hirelings are strongly convinced about what they are alleging, shouldn’t they transfer the wasted energy, to report the case to the Security agencies rather than stage weak protests?.

I can’t patronize the cheap blackmailers who take their briefs from Politicians that I defeated roundly.
